Jay Presser, who started with the firm in 1977, has over forty years of experience litigating employment cases in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the NLRB, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the State Labor Relations Commission.

Jay has successfully defended employers in civil actions and jury trials and has handled cases in all areas of employment law, including discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour, FMLA, ERISA, and defamation. He has won appeals before the Supreme Judicial Court and the First and Second Circuit Courts of Appeals, and has represented employers in hundreds of arbitration cases arising under collective bargaining agreements.

He has also won numerous honors, ranging from over twenty consecutive years on the Best Lawyers in America list to his repeated selection as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer. On several occasions, he has been named Management Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year in Springfield.
