Law Firm Hosts Labor And Employment Law Symposium For More Than 65 Human Resource Managers

sap-photo-1Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., the leading labor and employment law firm serving employers in the greater Springfield area, discussed new trends in employment law to help employers prepare for significant changes, especially in the area of overtime regulations, at its recent Labor and Employment Law Symposium.

On Tuesday, September 20, attorneys from Skoler, Abbott and Presser, along with more than 65 attendees, gathered to discuss new developments in both state and federal labor and employment law.

Opening remarks were given by both Partner, Timothy F. Murphy and Associate, John S. Gannon. Both attorneys commented on the many changes that have taken place over the past year and several regulations that are on the horizon for December 2016 and continuing into 2017.

Following the morning introductions, participants attended breakout sessions focusing on a variety of topics:
