New Paid Sick Leave Notice in Connecticut

Connecticut has released a new Paid Sick Leave notice to replace the poster that has been required since the Paid Sick Leave Law was implemented in 2012. Most of the requirements stated on the new poster remain the same, however, the new notice adds clarification that the payroll period used to determine whether or not they have 50 or more employees is the week containing October 1st. Also, the new notice stipulates that the employer can choose when to start the 365 day period to calculate benefits for paid sick leave.
