Attorney Jeremy Forgue was born and raised in the Springfield area, and found a passion for employment and labor law during his third and final year at Western New England University School of Law. While there, was a managing editor of the university’s Law Review. Before joining Skoler Abbott in 2021, Jeremy served as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Housing Court.
He brings those experiences, which required great attention to detail, to each and every one of his clients. He works to learn as much as possible from clients so he can understand their businesses and challenges so he can better assist and advise them.
Jeremy’s approach to employment matters is to educate and prepare employers for new and changing laws to prevent future compliance issues, such as reviewing existing policies for vulnerabilities and assisting in open forum discussions. By doing so, he greatly increases employer-employee relations and creates open dialogue between the two parties for a sustained mutually beneficial relationship. He advises getting in front of issues before they become commonplace problems to avoid extensive litigation costs.
When not practicing law, Jeremy enjoys running, playing and watching sports, cooking and spending time with family and loved ones.
