Attorney Kayla Snider will be presenting a webinar for the CMEA on May 7, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. about employers’ rights when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (better known as “ICE”) arrives at the workplace. Among the topics to be discussed by Attorney Snider:
- Practical steps for preparing in advance for the unexpected ICE visit;
- What ICE agents and employees can and cannot do;
- The difference vs. administrative and judicial warrants;
- Access to public vs. private areas of the workplace;
- How to interact and record interactions with ICE agents; and
- What to do after the visit.
- Attendees also will be provided with a template for creating an Action Plan.
A Zoom link with login information will be provided by the CMEA to all registrants the day before the webinar.
