Skoler, Abbott & Presser, P.C., a leading labor and employment law firm serving employers in the greater Springfield area, announced today that Attorney John S. Gannon was named a partner in the firm on January 1. Attorney Gannon, who has been with the firm since 2011, focuses his practice on employment litigation, workplace safety laws and OSHA compliance, enforcing non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and wage and hour compliance. He also provides day-to-day advice to businesses with questions about workplace-related issues.

A resident of Enfield, Conn., Attorney Gannon is a frequent speaker on employment-related legal topics for a wide variety of associations and organizations, and was selected by BusinessWest as a 40 Under Forty honoree for the Class of 2016. He is a member of the Massachusetts, Hampden County, Connecticut, and American bar associations. He also sits on the board of directors for Riverside Industries, a not-for-profit human services agency that serves people with perceived limitations and disabilities, and Educational Resources for Children, an Enfield nonprofit that provides out-of-school-time programs for children.
